Chinese New Year

So the Topdeck crew arranged a lunch in Sydney and I decided to go.

I caught the 8:30 am bus from Fairy Meadow which took just over 2 hours to get to central.

To my surprise Chinese New Year celebrations started that day. I made my way to the Chinese Friendship Gardens to watch the Lion Dance. On the way I spotted my first out of 12 Lunar Lanterns being the Goat. Continue reading “Chinese New Year”

My Brother’s weekend

After a week of hell I was glad to escape for the weekend. I was heading to Sydney while Wollongong buzzed with bikies and cruise ship tourists.

My plan was to bunk with my brother in his studio apartment for the night, it would be my first and most probably last sleep over in Chippendale. So up I went day dreaming outside the train window (actually taking photos).

Powerhouse Museum:Collette Dinnigan and Lego

We decided to take a trip to the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney to check out the Collette Dinnigan: Unlaced display (running till 28 August 2016) And the Art of the Brick:DC Comics display (running till 1 May 2016).
