Thirroul Seaside and Arts Festival

The three day arts festival livens up the little village of Thirroul. The festival is run by the Lions Club of Thirroul & Austinmer.

We went on the Saturday and the festival was a series of markets and art exhibitions spread throughout the main street.

The markets were a mixture of art and clothes with everything from woodwork to tiles. They had a nice little art exhibition in the Thirroul Library.

All funds were for the lions club. There was live music opposite the bar and the library.
Of course you could get your usual lions club sausage sandwich for $2 and the queue got pretty long but as always they lived up to expectations.
From what I could tell the Saturday was only a small event for what was on Sunday and the real fun was to be had by the seaside on Sunday. Unfortunately, I could not attend on the Sunday but there is always next year.
