Kiama Jazz and Blues Festival

We decided to take a Sunday drive to Kiama for the Jazz and Blues Festival. This busy little town was quiet as we entered the main street this Sunday morning around 10am.
Soon enough we found the street roamers on Terralong Street. A band called Hot Potato was jazzing up a Justin Bieber song to a crowd of people sandwiched in between two cafes.
By 11am the concert had started in Hindmarsh Park. The only let down was there was no shade on this sunny day. So following the little shade there was, us and the music goers and sat enjoyed some blues before the Australian Navy Big Band hit the stage.

With over 75 gigs, this three day festival was sure to draw in the crowds. The only thing is the 75 gigs are spread over 30 venues. Most being in Kiama but a lot being out of town (Minnamurra, Jamberoo, Berry).
In all it was an awesome day and maybe we picked the better day to go but it really was not busy at all for Kiama, which was a shame.
