A Buzz for Blender

Even from the morning there was a Buzz in the air. The long weekend was on its way and so was the Blender Festival.
By 1:30pm the Wollongong Mall was in full preparation with the track for the Australian Skate BoarderX championships well underway.

By 5pm people were everywhere, young and old, the Blender Festival’s opening party had started.
The stand out in the skate boarding was definitely the little kid who looked about 7 or 8 years old.

It was awesome the way you walked around the skating arena then on to the Eat Street Markets (on every Thursday) and then detour through Globe Lane for the rest of the opening party where they had live projections of the skate boarding, art exhibitions and a live band was pumping.

The atmosphere was electric.
